Amber George | Creative Director/Owner
With 12 years of experience and a passion for education and artful hair design, Amber's background as a successful technical director, department head and salon mentor have led her to her opening her own salon, Verve Hair Lounge. During her career, Amber has been fortunate to train with some of the top educators in the Industry. With extensive training by Colour Master’s Dennis Gebhart and Peter Valenti she was given the foundation to become an educator herself, having done so for the past decade. Her cutting mentors equally impressive with such names as Cindy Schaber, Sharon Biro and Sam Villa. Amber now rounds out her skill in the world of Session Styling, lending her talents to Editorial Photoshoots having trained with New York Session Stylist Noah Hatton. So please, come join Amber and her team of hairstylists on their journey of mastering their craft.
Lindsey | Stylist
Lindsey has joined our team after being a loyal team mate in Vernon. We are happy that she has decided to make Verve her home here in North Vancouver. Lindsey is a great talent who sees herself as a true hair artist on her journey to mastering the craft. She has spent the last 6 years chasing the dream and developing her skills. She has trained with Master Colourist Dennis Gebhart which has given her an amazing grasp on the science of haircolour and the artistry she portrays makes her one of Vancouver's up and coming hair colour specialists. Lindsey has also trained in the barbering techniques offered by the American Crew Menswork academy. She is also our resident extensions girl, having trained in several types of extensions. She is a very solid and well rounded stylist! AND she is very upbeat and a joy to be around.
Maggie | Salon Host and Assistant
If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting our newest team mate Maggie, then you are in for a treat the next time you come and visit. Maggie is our new Salon Host and Assistant. Maggie grew up in Alberta where she aspired to become a hairstylist. Soon after graduating from highschool she set her sights high and moved to Vancouver where she attended the Blanche Macdonald Center. Maggie is now attending regular classes at Verve and will one day soon join our team as a New Talent. She has high aspirations and an amazing personality and drive to go with them. She is definitely one of the best assistants Amber has ever had and we all look forward to her progression within the team! This young stylist is on her way.
